With widely compatible disc playback, the UBR-X100 is ideal for your treasured collection of music and movies. Playable discs include UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD-A, DVD and CD. It’s also compatible with a wide range of recorded formats. These include FLAC, AIFF, DFF, DSF, JPG, TIFF, MKV and M2TS.

Stream from USB or DLNA
As well as playing a vast range of disc formats, this flexible player also plays content via its USB interface. Front and rear USB sockets are perfect for permanent or temporary connections and are compatible with a wide range of file formats, including MKV, FLAC, DSD, AIFF and JPG. The Ethernet connection lets you plug into your network and stream content from other devices, such as a NAS drive, via DLNA.

Enhance your Blu-rays with 4K upscaling
4K upscaling enhances the quality of your existing media to give a more detailed picture on your 4K TV. Ideal for use with FHD (1080p) media, 4K upscaling gives a boost to your older movies, without having to get the latest 4K version – if it’s even available.

Solidly built
The 1.6mm thick chassis is reinforced with a 3mm thick steel plate. This not only gives the player a solid feel but also helps resist vibration. Less mechanical vibration promotes a purer, cleaner sound with less distortion.

Twin HDMI and USB sockets
Twin HDMI sockets give you flexible connectivity. The second HDMI lets you run an audio source to another room or use the player with older AV receivers that wont pass through 4K HDR signals. The front-mounted USB 2.0 interface is ideal for plug-in media players. The rear-mounted USB 3.0 offers even higher performance and is perfect for constantly connected storage and playback devices.

On-screen media information
Want to know more about the movie’s technical information? It’s easy with the UBR-X100. Simply hold down the INFO button on the remote to call up the disc’s details. This lets you check information such as MaxFall (Maximum Frame Average Light Level), MaxCLL (Maximum Content Light Level) as well as HDR and HDMI output information.
