With universal disc playback, the UBR-X200 is ideal for your treasured collection of music and movies. Playable discs include UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD-A, DVD, ASCD and CD. It’s also compatible with a wide range of recorded formats. These include FLAC, AIFF, DFF, DSF, JPG, TIFF, MKV and M2TS. In short, whatever your disc and format, the UBR-X200 has you covered.

Stream from USB or DLNA
As well as playing a vast range of disc formats, this flexible player also plays content via its USB interface. Front and rear USB sockets are perfect for permanent or temporary connections and are compatible with a wide range of file formats, including MKV, FLAC, DSD, AIFF and JPG. The Ethernet connection lets you plug into your network and stream content from other devices, such as a NAS drive, via DLNA.

Top quality vision – including Dolby Vision and HDR10 compatibility
With high power processors from the likes of Mediatek and ARM at its heart, the UBR-X200 offers impressive video performance. Compatible with Dolby Vision and HDR10, it’s all set to maximise the performance of your UHD Blu-ray discs recorded in these formats. Film fans will also appreciate True 24p Cinema, which delivers 24 frames per second, straight through to the screen, just as it would at the cinema.

Adjustable video
For tailored vision, the UBR-X200 lets you set the brightness, contrast, colour saturation, hue, sharpness and noise reduction. This helps you get the perfect picture for your particular screen and tastes.

Enhance your Blu-rays with 4K upscaling
4K upscaling enhances the quality of your existing media to give a more detailed picture on your 4K TV. Ideal for use with FHD (1080p) media, 4K upscaling gives a boost to your older movies, without having to get the latest 4K version – if it’s even available.

Featuring Burr-Brown DACs, custom capacitors and a powerful toroidal transformer at its heart, the UBR-X200 is every bit as well specified as a top quality CD (or SACD) player. This makes it sound impressive, not just with movie soundtracks, but also your music discs, too. The generous power supply ensures a powerful sound, with effortless dynamics and precise harmonics. The quality components reduce background noise for a superior signal-to-noise ratio. The jitter-less clock also helps reduce distortion. Put together, all the components contribute to a sound that’s smooth, powerful and precise.

Solidly built
The 1.6mm thick chassis is reinforced with a 3mm thick steel plate. This not only gives the player a solid feel but also helps resist vibration. Less mechanical vibration promotes a purer, cleaner sound with less distortion.

Total connectivity to your AVR or amp
Whatever your system, the UBR-X200 has you connected. Outputs to your AVR or amp include conventional RCA phono, digital coaxial and optical. For more advanced systems, there’s the option of XLR sockets for a pro-quality, balanced connection. This is especially beneficial for longer runs, where conventional, unbalanced, analogue cables quickly lose signal quality. Legacy systems are catered for, too, with the increasingly rare 7.1 RCA phono outputs.
