-Marjoram Sweet has a very Earthy aroma with some similarity to Tea Tree in use but more pleasant than Tea Tree in aroma. It Spicy, Sweet, Herbaceous, with a hint of camphor and wood notes. It is not similar to Spanish Marjoram Thymus mastichina in aroma or use which is a member of the thyme family.

-Marjoram sweet is one of the most relaxing essential oils. It may help relieve anxiety, nervousness, tension and assists in sleep and tension headaches. It is recommended for feelings of loneliness and grief.
-It is antispasmodic to reduce muscle strains, twitching and cramping from overwork or painful menstrual cycles. It partners particularly well with Clary Sage Hydrodiffused in a warm compress to ease stomach cramps. Diffused into the air it can also ease minor digestive problems. Sweet Marjoram is used to improve circulation and may help reduce blood pressure.
-Marjoram sweet is an anaphrodisiac meaning it quiets libido and sexual desire. It is commonly used by the clergy and in small amounts in meditation blends to relax and focus the mind.
