Nick sharratt was born in London in 1962. He graduated from St. Martins School of art and majored in graphic design. His inspiration came from the masses and graphic art in his childhood. However, he also said that observing the surroundings of life, daydreaming and maintaining the heart of a child are all sources of inspiration. His works are characterized by bright colors and bold patterns. He also likes to use different media, such as watercolor, acrylic, carbon pen, ink, photos, etc. Humor is the most important element in his works. Sharratt also co wrote with other writers, the most famous of which was Jacqueline Wilson, who was awarded the title of writer of British childrens literature. Sharratts works have won numerous awards, including the British Sheffield childrens Book Award, Stockport schools Book Award, Experian award, etc. his works have been exhibited in Britain, Italy, Japan, the United States and other places.
