About the author
Felicity Brooks is the editorial director and writer of Bourne press in the United States. She studied English and drama at Exeter University and worked as an actor, teacher and lexicographer before she began working in childrens Publishing in the late 1980s. She has written and edited hundreds of titles of childrens books, including stories and novel books for preschool children, as well as books related to H. History, geography, language, science, mathematics, nature and art. Her works won tes advanced information book award, Aventis Science Book Award, SLA Information Book Award, Sheffield Baby Book Award and practical preschool gold and silver award.
