Disney On Ice - Jungle Adventures is the 21st Disney on Ice show and the first ever to have its World Premier in the UK. Produced by Feld Entertainment® and featuring an international cast of world-class figure skaters, along with everyones favourites Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy, Jungle Adventures will make its debut as it swings into Newcastle at the Telewest Arena. The Journey begins as audiences venture into the arena, which has been magically transformed into a verdant jungle garden, complete with tropical foliage and roaring lions. The wise Rafiki becomes a mentor to young Simba as he teaches him (and young audience members alike) lifes valuable lessons on his way to becoming The Lion King. Simba learns of Mowglis hair-raising adventures with Bagheera, Baloo, Colonel Hathis marching elephants and all the beloved characters from Disneys The Jungle Book, marking the first time ever that the whole Disney classic has been protrayed on ice! The entire Jungle Book sound track has been rearranged to a jungle swing beat to complement the skaters intricate choreography. Simbas lessons continue with Tarzan, who swings through the trees with ease, demonstrating incredible athletic and innovative skating that soars to new heights as well as high-flying aerial stunts never before seen on ice. The entire production climaxes around the Tree of Life with the coronation of a new Lion King to complete Simbas "Circle of Life".
