Specification :
Frame : High-tech, injection-molded composite frame doesnt scratch, splinter, swell, or rust like wood or metal frames (GFT frame is made of 30% glass fiber reinforced nylon composite). Extremely lightweight, high-strength yet flexible, and durable material (weatherproof).

Saddle : Special "horse saddle" shape provides for maximum comfort and stability. The shape of the seat ensures a child does not slip off when riding downhill (unlike common pedal bike saddles used on other balance bikes).

Grips : Safety grips keep little hands from slipping off and help kids better control the bike.

STEERING LIMITER : The handlebar does not fully rotate and helps keep direction. Steering limiter helps your young rider ride smoother and helps prevent rough falls.

HAND BRAKE : Hand-controlled, rear drum SafetyStop brake ensures very gentle and gradual braking; the braking power can be adjusted.

- What is the difference the tires used on a STREET and CROSS model?
In practical terms, the only difference is the design. Both have very similar on-road performance. The Cross model is more attractive for children who enjoy off-roading and motorcycles, because the rough tread looks like a mountain bike and sounds a bit like a motorbike. The Street model has a more subtle look and is best suited for children who enjoy the look of city or trekking bikes. However, this is matter of taste.

- What is the minimum height requirement for my child to ride a FirstBIKE?
Thanks to the LowKit lowering kit, models with inflatable tires can be used by children from 2 ft 8 in. The Basic model with solid wheels can be used by children from 2 ft 7.5 in. However, this also depends on the length of the legs. When riding a balance bike the knees should be slightly bent while the feet are flat on the ground. The lowest seat position on a FirstBIKE is only 12 in (1 ft), which makes it one of the lowest balance bikes on the market.
