Dawner Prince เป็นอีกค่ายหนึ่ง ที่ทำ Pedals ออกมาได้เสียงดีเฉียบขาดมากๆ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง
“Distortion” ตัวนี้ ที่มีชื่อว่า Red Rox ตัวมันทำหน้าที่เปรียบเสมือน preamp ที่มี gain เยอะมากๆ
มีเนื้อเสียงที่เหนียวและหนาติดมือเหมือน ให้อารมณ์เหมือนเล่น pedals สองตัว stack กัน
การควบคุมมี 4 knobs
Master - ประบระดับความดัง-เบา ของตัวมันและความลับคือ พยายามปรับให้เสียงของมันดังขึ้นกว่าเสียง by pass ของกีตาร์ เรานิดนึง มันจะทำให้เจ้าตัวนี้เสียง พุ่งและ cut through มากขึ้นครับ
Preamp - ใช้ควบคุม gain และถ้าหากเปิดมันในระดับ minimum และเปิด master ชดเชยขึ้นมา มันจะกลายเป็น clean boost ที่เอาไว้เพิ่ม gain stage ของหัวแอมป์ได้อย่างดี
Tone - ควบคุณย่านทุ้ม-แหลม ถ้าคุณเปิด master น้อยเกินไป ปุ่ม tone นี้จะไม่ค่อยแสดงอาการแตกต่างให้เห็นชัดมากสักเท่าไร สิ่งสำคัญ master ต้องดังในระดับหนึ่ง แล้วจะรู้ว่า tone ของมัน มหัศจรรย์มากๆ
Contour - ใช้ควบคุม mid range ตรงตำแหน่ง 12.00 จะเป็นการ balance mid frequency หากหมุนย้อนกลับ จะได้ sound แบบ scooped mid อัด rythm โหดๆได้สะใจ ถ้าเราเพิ่มมันขึ้นมันจะเพิ่มย่าน mid ให้ cut through ออกมาเวลาเล่นกับ band
ตัวนี้สามารถใช้ไฟได้ 9-18vdc ผมแนะนำว่าให้ใช้กับ 18vdc จะรู้สึกถึงความแตกต่างมากๆ headroom มันจะเพิ่มขึ้นและ โคตรเป็น fighter distortion ที่ดีมากๆตัวหนึ่งเลยครับ

FEATURES:
Master
Volume level. Same volume as your bypass signal (unity gain) or up for a whole lot fatter tone!

Contour
Controls the frequency - in the middle position is a balanced presentation of the overall frequencies; clockwise it becomes midrange pronounced & counterclockwise it becomes midrange scooped.

Tone
Controls the frequency emphasis on the highs coming out of the distortion section. Top end frequencies can be easily ajdusted to your own taste.

Preamp
Controls the amount of distortion in the signal. On minimum setting Red Rox is a clean booster. Cranking it up will take your guitar sound all the way to a full, fat and thick distortion
