น้ำมันเมล็ดองุ่น ( Grape seed ) ประกอบด้วยวิตะมิน E ,ไตรกลีเซอไรด์และกรดไขมัน โดยเฉพาะกรดไขมันไม่อิ่มตัว เช่น linoleic acid มีประมาณ 72-76%(w/w) ซึ่งสูงกว่าน้ำมันจากเมล็ดพืชชนิดอื่นๆ เช่น safflower, sunflower และ corn oils
เป็นการสกัดเย็น Cold pressed น้ำมันจะมีกลิ่นเฉพาะตัวเบาๆ จากตัวเมล้ดองุ่น
มีคุณสมบัติสามารถดูดซับทางผิวหนังได้อย่างรวดเร็วและล้ำลึก เหมาะสำหรับคนผิวมัน ใช้ทำน้ำมันนวดเนื้อบางเบาได้เป็นอย่างดี อีกทั้งยังช่วยชะลอการเกิดริ้วรอยของผิวพรรณไม่ให้เหี่ยวย่น ช่วยบำรุงผิวให้แลดูอ่อนเยาว์ ยืดอายุของเซลล์ผิว ช่วยซ่อมแซมและฟื้นฟูเซลล์ผิวที่เสื่อมสภาพให้แข็งแรง ทำให้ผิวพรรณกระชับขึ้น น้ำมันจากเมล็ดองุ่นยังมีปริมาณแทนนิน (tannins) สูงกว่าน้ำมันจากเมล็ดพืชชนิดอื่นๆ ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติในการต้านอนุมูลอิสระ บำรุงผิว
จากการวิจัยพบว่าน้ำมันสกัดจากเมล็ดองุ่นนั้น มีสาร Super-Anti Oxidant มีประสิทธิภาพสูงกว่าวิตามินซี 20 เท่า ใช้นวดหน้า นวดตัว (ใช้แทนครีมหรือโลชั่นได้) หรือใช้ผสมกับครีม โลชั่น โดยผสมขณะที่จะใช้ ผสมได้ตามต้องการ

ใช้เป็นน้ำมันพื้นฐาน 100% ใช้ในการทำน้ำมันนวด ซึมง่าย ไม่เหนียว

Grape seed oil is a by-product of wine making raw materials abundant and cheap. The left over seeds are crushed then pressed using low heat to prevent damage to the oil. The oil is light, penetrating with a non greasy feel making it excellent for massage blends, especially spa massage blends because the oil may not require a shower afterwards.

Grapeseed oil has been a favorite among aromatherapists for its smooth feel and fast absorption qualities. It has very good absorption qualities and is again becoming a very popular choice in massage formulas, particularly those formulas where the benefit comes from the essential oils absorbing deep into the body. Grape seed is fast absorbing leaving no greasy feel.
