The Shimano XT CS-M8100 cassette + CN-M8100 chain set - for no-fuss gear changes
This Shimano XT cassette and chain set consists of the CS-M8100-12 cassette and the CN-M8100 chain. With them you to tackle any trail and make smooth progress even on rough terrain.


With the Shimano XT CS-M8100 12-speed cassette you have the choice between a 10-45 t and a 10-51 t version. If you want to keep your gear jumps as low as possible, then the 10-45 gradation is the right one for you. If you want to cover as much range as possible, use the 10-51 option. Of course, all CS-M8100-12 cassettes feature Shimano Hyperglide+ technology for high shifting speed, precision and smoothness when shifting up or down. Noise is also minimised in this way. Weight reduction, robustness and durability are further enhanced by the aluminium spider construction and the two largest sprockets, which are also made of aluminium.


The Shimano XT CN-M8100 12 chain is a key component of the XT M8100 groupset and has therefore been optimised from the ground up. Precise, fast and smooth shifts in both directions, even under load, are ensured by high-precision formed contact surfaces to the chainring and cassette. In addition, the CN-M8100 chain has chrome-plated inner plates, which noticeably increase its durability.
