Presented in 1929 as the ‘world’s most expensive fragrance’, Jean Partou’s 1000 created a sensation. Created in 1930, the 1000 fragrance is like is a uniquely Jasmin concentration, saturated with jasmine over 1600 Type of the world and rose. Bulgarian rose complements Grasse jasmine, succulent pear compliments powdery sandalwood; a rich floral bouquet composed of the most opulent of natural ingredients. The elegant and simple bottle entwined at the neck with golden thread was designed by the French painter and architect Louis Süe.

The Golden label
...a rather unknown fact: many parfum/extrait bottles sport a label made by genuine gold -dont throw away your empty bottles!- you can easily recognize it because it seems "printed" on the bottle, and you cant peel it off. Actually, it is a foil of pure gold applied directly on the bottle. The same happened cap is covered with gold.
