9 1/2" closed. 8 1/2" (210mm) SK4 high carbon steel blade with medium teeth. Utilizes proprietary MIRAI-ME (Smooth Cutting) Technology. Blade thickness 1.2mm. Aluminum handles with black Gum non-slip rubberized only offers a sure grip. Ideal for pruning as well as cutting dry, hard wood. Clear composition belt storage case with hinged top.

The Silky GomBoy series blades are manufactured with precision-ground, impulse hardened teeth & patented Mirai-Me smooth cutting teeth design.

Impulse Hardening Technology
Using a special high frequency heating technique, teeth are heated instantly & hardened. The remainder of the blade is unchanged & still retains its normal flexibility. The hardened teeth are harder than an ordinary file & stay sharp about three times longer than non-hardened teeth.
