For GXP direct mount disk offset description
1. For SRAM mountain crank specifications are three pin specifications, installation mount is universal and crank specifications have no relationship. That is, for GXP shaft, BB30 shaft, PF30 shaft, for DUB shaft, although the shaft is not the same, but the installation mount is the same.
2. For SRAM direct mount disc is divided into 0MM/3MM/6MM/ offset, there is no fixed frame using a few mm offset, disc offset is about the larger the closer to the frame, offset is to correct the chain line, and the choice of crank frame.
3. Frame design has the limit of teeth number, can not be infinite amplification of the number of teeth, such as the use of 6MM offset plate against the frame, you can consider the use of 3MM offset plate, but the chain line to rely on the outside (relatively far from the frame).
4. As for the cost of the disk, the 0MM offset cost is lower and the processing difficulty is low, so the 0MM offset disk is more cost effective without considering the chain line.
5. Choose the right of offset disc, chain inclination in large flywheel and small piece of the flywheel, the use of low offset direct mount chianring may cause the chain speed to large flywheel were slope is too large, discs in this case wont drop chain but disc wear will accelerate, the greater chain slope has relatively increasing noise.
