The HEATKILLER® IV CPU series mounting material is perfectly adapted to the specifications from INTEL and AMD. The predefined stop delivers the perfect pressure defined by the chip manufacturers. This backplate for the INTEL sockets 1150, 1151, 1155 and 1156 spreads out the counterpressure around the socket area and thus reduces the mechanical stress on the motherboard. This can even help in achieving slightly better temperatures.
