The idler pulley assembly allows the supercharger belt to track properly from the crankshaft. The belt routes around the idler pulley and moves freely to keep your supercharger operating at full potential. Common failures of the idler pulley include a bearing noise, a bent pulley, or even they can even become locked up from dirt and debris.
