Refilling your Potion Lab solutions

Using them is easy -- all you need to do is accurately measure a 1000 mL solution using the powder provided, then add this to your stock solution bottle.

We recommend creating the new solution in the separate bottle you use for making brew water, then adding it to the stock solution. This way you can just carefully undo the lid, lift it up, and pour it in -- rather than trying to make it in the bottles that have tubes running into them.

How to make

Take an empty, cleaned bottle. Zero it on a set of scales. Add ~100 g of water first, then add the full packet of powder. We recommend rinsing the bag to get all traces of powder out of it.

Then, fill the bottle to 1000 g, cap and shake vigourously. Leave for 5 minutes and shake again until there is no visible powder or flakes in the solution.

Now pour this liquid into the existing stock solution container.

We also recommend rinsing and cleaning your stock solution containers (the ones with pipes in them) at least once a month, to prevent any issues from dust/foreign material that might get into the containers.

Why buy these packets?

• We save you the time accurately weighing out powders. You would need a very accurate set of scales to do so yourself (e.g. jewelery scales). Most coffee scales are not precise enough to weigh out accurate quantities in the range of 1-10 grams (e.g. 3.785 g)
• You dont need to worry about the quality and purity of minerals -- we source these carefully and understand their purity + analysis.
• You dont need to source, purchase, arefully store and handle stock mineral powders. Many of these must be kept extremely dry and contaminating them accidentally could compromise your Potion Lab.
• Its simply not worth the hassle of all the above. Just use our stock powders!
