The role of the ignition coil: Ignition system commonly used non-contact ignition system
The principle is: the dc low voltage inverter, voltage doubling rectifying, into a dc high voltage, and then by controlling the high voltage interruption through the ignition coil primary, secondary induction in ignition coil high pressure (typically around 20 kv), drive the discharge spark plug ignition.
