Oliver Jeffs, a famous British picture book writer. Born in Australia in 1977, he now lives in the United States. He graduated from Ulster University, majoring in illustration and visual communication. In 2004, he began to devote himself to the field of childrens picture books and published his first work "the day of picking stars". Since then, his works have almost won various small childrens Book Awards in the UK, and become a supernova in the UK and even the childrens book creation industry. In 2007, Oliver Jeffs became the designated painter of UNESCO World Book Day. In 2008, he was named a newcomer of picture book illustrator by American Time magazine. His representative works are far away, children eating books, and the crayon strike.
Oliver Jeffersgraduated from The University of Ulster in 2001 with First Class honours. His outstanding talent has been recognised by several high-profile awards, including the Nestlé Children’s Book Prize Gold Award.Lost and Found animation was broadcast on Channel 4. Oliver lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
