The YI Dome Camera U Pro features direction control, bookmarkable locations, and motion tracking- no loss of any corner, save every detail. The YI Dome Camera U Pro features an Auto-Cruise Mode that conveniently surveys the area. You can also select up to 8 locations to cruise through and return to any of them at the tap of a button.

Secure & Private

The YI Dome Camera U Pro was made with privacy in mind. Simply flip the lid of the camera to turn on “Sleep Mode” whenever you want to disable the camera’s ability to record and set a PIN Code in the YI Home APP for an extra layer of protection. Once "Sleep Mode" is enabled, the camera lens will automatically rotate downwards inside of the case to protect your privacy.

Enhanced Infrared Night Vision For Clear Images Even in Extremely Low Light Settings

Keep an eye on any room, day and night. The 940-nm infrared light with invisible red glow leaves you and your loved ones to rest undisturbed. YI Dome Camera U Pro features a high-sensitivity image sensor, and displays colour video in low light settings.

Smarter Alerts With Face Detection

See faces captured in your alerts with ease. The integrated Senslab chip allows the YI Dome Camera U Pro to quickly detect faces and create an instant summary of all the faces in your video, without having to watch the entire clip.

Advanced Human Detection

AI-powered Human Detection is more advanced than traditional PIR or motion detection. Featuring built-in new sensors and highly accurate human detection technology, it can reduce “false positives” alarms caused by plants, animals, or small insects. Only sending you alerts when it matters!

Two-Way Audio & Sound Detection

Built-in speaker and microphone allow you to interact with your family members and s. Instant notification will be sent to your smartphone when the camera detects baby crying, dog barking, and any other abnormal sounds, keeping you aware of whats going on at home from anywhere you are.

Pin Protection

To increase the camera’s security, there’s an option to protect your feed with PIN protection. When enabled, this option asks you to enter a four-digits PIN code before you could log onto the camera’s video stream. It provides peace of mind that unwanted viewers cant hack into the feed.

Dual Storage Options for Increased Security

Store your data and recordings: locally with an extra SD card (not included) or in the cloud. YI Cloud offers loop-recording with no storage limit, so even if your camera is stolen or damaged, your footage will still be secure and accessible on the cloud. Users are guaranteed secure access with financial-industry standard encryption.

Setting Up Your Camera With YI Home App

1. Install YI Home App and create a YI Home Account
2. Power your camera on and click the icon on the upper right corner in YI HOME app to add your camera
3. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password, then select Connect to Wi-Fi
4. Scan the QR Code shown on the app, then select Next once the QR Code has scanned
5. Select Save, then select Start using to finish pairing
6. If connection failed, please push the Reset button and try again

WiFi Settings

1. YI cameras will need to connect to a 2.4GHz band network. 5GHz WiFi band is not supported
2. Turning on the location service on the phone if you encounter Unknown SSID issue
3. Encryption mode must be set to WPA/WPA2 (mixed mode) or WPA2
4. Your Wi-Fi password must be 8-20 characters in length

FAQs

Can I adjust the cameras focal length?
The YI Dome Camera U Pro’s focal length is 2.8mm. You cannot adjust the focus of the lens, but you can digitally zoom by 4x on the image.

How do I obtain full coverage of a room?
Typically, a home camera is placed in the corner of a room where it can optimize the view angle. We recommend having at least two cameras to fully cover a large space, such as a living room. To compley monitor your home, users can add cameras in every room for a full home monitoring system.

I am on a 5GHz network. Can I still use the camera?
The YI Dome Camera U Pro is only compatible on a 2.4GHz band network. 5GHz networks are not supported.
All routers have a 2.4GHz band network available and most routers are dual-band, meaning they have both a 2.4GHz and 5Ghz band network. Many routers have both bands available simultaneously, meaning you can see two network names for your router. Check your Wi-Fi settings to see if you have 2 networks available. The 5GHz network name will typically end in a 5, while the 2.4GHz network might end in 2 but it may not be indicated in the name.
