IC ID Card Introduction:
How to distinguish the IC card and ID card from the surface:
(1)ID thick card: thick card 1.8mm, thicker than the bank card, with a long hole on the side, one side is a convex slope surface, a string of 18 or 10 card numbers below the card, for example: 86 096,30502. If there is mango on the surface of the card, it can be determined as an ID thick card.
(2)ID thin card: The thin card size is the same as the bank card standard size, thickness is 0.8mm, both sides are flat mirror, some printed patterns, some thin cards have 18 or 10 card number, for example: 86 096,30502. Some do not have this series of card numbers, so that it is impossible to distinguish whether they are ID cards or IC cards from the outside, and we need to give us a test.
(3)ID Key Card: Most key-type access cards on the market, parking cards are ID cards, most of the cards are printed with 10 or 18 card numbers.
(4)IC card: The IC card is a read-write card with an encrypted sector. The IC card is not in the form of a thick card. Generally, it is a thin card and the IC card surface will not print numbers, so if your card is a thin card, There is no 18 or 10 card number, you need to get our test here.

Product description:
The XT-171/17U card reader is a read/write device that can read and write Mifare One cards. This card reader has two operating modes: active upload mode and passive upload mode. When the card reader is powered on, it works. That mode can be set through the configuration software. If the card reader is powered on, the default mode is the active upload mode. When someone swipes the card, the card reader actively uploads the card number. When the computer sends the test card command, the card reader becomes passive. Upload mode. When the reader works in the passive upload mode, the reader no longer actively uploads the card number, and only when the computer sends a test card command does the reader return the command whether there is a card. If the status of the card reader when it is powered on is the active upload mode, since the command of sending the detection card causes the card reader to enter the passive upload mode, the card reader can be restored to the state of actively uploading the card number after the power is turned off and on again.
Interface Description:
171 Interface Description:
The leader of the reader is divided into two parts. The USB interface can be connected to the USB port of the computer for powering the reader, and the other connector is the serial port of the computer connected to the RS232 interface for data transmission.
17U interface description:
The lead wire of the reader is a USB interface. The USB port provides power and data to the reader. After the reader is connected to a computer, the computer will prompt to find the USB device. Please install it from DRIVER in the data directory. The device simulates a serial port in the computer. The user program communicates with the reader via the analog serial port.
Work process description:
Active upload card number status: Active upload card number status You can configure the software to set whether the card reader automatically checks the card in 300 milliseconds. If the reader is set to automatically check the card for 300 milliseconds, the card reader will automatically upload the card number of the card reader to the host when the card is swiped. After the card reader uploads the card number, it must receive the command to read the card, write the command or add the card within 300 milliseconds. Any one of the impairment commands, if the reader does not receive one of the commands within 300 milliseconds, the card reader will automatically close the card and perform the next round of card detection. If one of the above commands is received within 300 milliseconds, the card reader will process the command according to the received command. The command can be sent continuously but no more than 300 milliseconds between the two commands. If the card reader exceeds 300 milliseconds, the card reader will automatically Close the card and conduct the next round of card detection. After the card reader closes the card, the execution of the operation command to the card will fail.
Passive upload card number status: The computer sends a test card to instruct the card reader to return whether there is a card. When the card reader returns the card number, the host can send a read/write card command to operate the card.
